FEATHERLESS CHICKEN

Chicken is a common poultry which is loved by all age categories. Whether it is roasted or in curry everybody loves to have it. Generally we have seen chicken with feather which needs to remove before cooking and this is obvious step to avoid any microorganism and to remove unnecessary thing from chicken. Once the bird is killed, after feathers are plucked, still some small feathers will be stuck to the skin .Singeing is a process to remove the excess feathers by exposing the bird over an open flame. But the main story starts from here ------

The Featherless chicken is created by researcher at the genetics faculty of the Rehovot Agronomy Institute, Tel Aviv, Israel, it is a cross breed of bare head chicken and broiler chicken. It is created by natural breeding method and this is convenient and efficient if we are consuming chicken on daily basis. The growth of featherless chicken is fast as compare to the normal breed.  This meat is lower in fat so it can be consumed on daily basis if you are concentrated towards calories. They can be retain in hot climate and their shelf life is quite good as compared to normal breed of chicken. The most important fact of this featherless chicken is we don’t have to pluck their feather and we can avoid the singeing process, but in the same time it gives open invitation to the bacteria and other microorganism because of their naked body. Due to their naked body it is difficult them to survive in cold climate and Injury can happen easily because they don’t have feathers to protect themselves.
