The taste papillae are folds on your tongue. They are necessary for increasing the surface area of your tongue. There are three types of taste papillae on your tongue:

1.    Mushroom-shaped papillae (Fungiform papillae)

These are located on the front two thirds of the tongue; they are embedded with an average of four taste buds.

2.    Circumvallate papillae (Vallate papillae)

These are large dome-shaped papillae which lie in a V-shape on the rear part of the tongue. They are embedded with an average of 250 taste buds.

3.    Leaf-shaped papillae (Foliate papillae)

These papillae lie along the length of the tongue and are embedded with about 1300 taste buds.

Taste buds are therefore found on the taste papillae. In Figures you can see a microscopic image of a taste bud. Taste cells are located in the taste bud.

FEATHERLESS CHICKEN

Chicken is a common poultry which is loved by all age categories. Whether it is roasted or in curry everybody loves to have it. Generally we have seen chicken with feather which needs to remove before cooking and this is obvious step to avoid any microorganism and to remove unnecessary thing from chicken. Once the bird is killed, after feathers are plucked, still some small feathers will be stuck to the skin .Singeing is a process to remove the excess feathers by exposing the bird over an open flame. But the main story starts from here ------

The Featherless chicken is created by researcher at the genetics faculty of the Rehovot Agronomy Institute, Tel Aviv, Israel, it is a cross breed of bare head chicken and broiler chicken. It is created by natural breeding method and this is convenient and efficient if we are consuming chicken on daily basis. The growth of featherless chicken is fast as compare to the normal breed.  This meat is lower in fat so it can be consumed on daily basis if you are concentrated towards calories. They can be retain in hot climate and their shelf life is quite good as compared to normal breed of chicken. The most important fact of this featherless chicken is we don’t have to pluck their feather and we can avoid the singeing process, but in the same time it gives open invitation to the bacteria and other microorganism because of their naked body. Due to their naked body it is difficult them to survive in cold climate and Injury can happen easily because they don’t have feathers to protect themselves.

DASH DIET

DASH diet helps to keep heart healthy and improve the functioning of heart. This diet is basically lower in sodium and high in Potassium, calcium and Magnesium. DASH stands for Dietary approach to stop hypertension. This diet also focused on more vegetables, fruits, whole grains and fibre enriched food and less in red meat, dairy products, sugary drinks and Trans fat. The purpose of this diet is to reduce the chances of hyper tension. DASH diet also helps to reduce the weight because of the diet involved in this, this is one of the safest ways to reduce weight but  should also include some light weight exercise or required exercise as per the potential of the body.

DASH diet is simple because it does not involve any sophisticated or complicated food; it contains all the basic food which is easily available in market. You can go for protein rich food to cut down any junk foods which are generally packed with more calories. Foods which are taken nowadays are generally more salty and are rich in fat. Sodium intake should be minimised to maintain the healthy heart function and fat should also be regulated to reduce the bad cholesterol. If these things are minimized then it would be a great step towards healthy lifestyle.

Mock Meat culture in India

Recently after watching many unusual videos in social media I found that now people are ready to accept the concept of Mock meat. Before starting the whole finding let me brief you about mock meat. A veg product which is a replacement of real meat and it can be prepared in the same style like we do with meats. It can be dairy, lentils, plant, and vegetable based products. Plant based dairy products have been successful substitute of original dairy products but now the same scenario is applicable for meat where soya, dairy and vegetables are used to prepare the dish which are possible replacement of real meat. Many restaurants are already running their menu which has involvement of mock meat. Many street side food outlets have also involved these products in their menu and given few options to the veg lovers. But the problem comes the way they are promoting the mock meat, they are simply selling these products by the name of meat and they will simply add veg word to it.Many videos which are there in social media they are misleading people by saying that Veg chicken but this is not the way to promote this mock meat culture. because earlier also Jackfruit was popular among the veg people and sometimes Non veg lovers they do also eat jackfruit as a substitute of meat because the texture of jackfruit changes after cooking but they call it as a jackfruit product not a Veg Meat curry. So to cut this misconception we should understand the meaning of food and should be bifurcated as per the nature of food.
