Popular winter food in India


                                        

1) Sarso da saag aur makke di roti- one of the all-time favourite Punjabi food. Which has special place in Indian cuisine is the right food which you can take in winters. Seasonal grown sarso gives flavour and has all the nutrition in it.

2) Gond ke laddu- long shelf life of this laddu makes it famous among family. It is prepared with edible gum and nuts which gives you immense heat and helps you to beat chilly weather.

3) Mutton curry- it is one of the meat dish which is always a favorite among non-vegetarian but when it is cooked in winters the taste and importance increased. it is sometimes cooked with fresh leafy vegetables also in few places in India during winters.

4) Panjiri- prepared with ghee and nuts it gives you power and helps you to remain healthy in winters.

5) Kali mirch ka shorba- black pepper corn nature is hot and when it is involved in food it is not only act as seasoning it increases the taste and gives you many therapeutic benefits.

6) Gajar ka halwa- we cannot imagine our winter without this delicious Indian sweet. Prepared with carrot, milk, khoya, nuts and sugar.

7) Kharode ka soup- best used in the treatment of cold and flu.populary known as paya ka shorba aur soup. Made up with lamb bone, mint, coriander etc.

8) Methi ka paratha- morning is incomplete without having paratha in northern India but when the paratha Is methi paratha then it is cherry on top.

9) Jalebi with hot milk- yes this combination is one of the best paired Indian sweet which has sweetness of both (jalebi and milk) .

10) Momos and Thukpa- this combination is like soul and body, the spice level of momos and thukpa will give you sure relieve in chilly winter.
